Client Spotlight: Kayla

Today in our Client Spotlight we are featuring Kayla. Kayla has been with FabYOUlous Fitness for 8 months. One of my favorite discussions with Kayla had to do with drinking her morning caffeine before work to help keep away that pesky caffeine headahce. Kayla had the BEST.RESPONSE.EVER! when asked why she couldn't drink it in her car on the way to work. You see, if she was drinking her beverage she would have to interrupt her car concert! I love it so much because I totallly get it! I've been known to do a little car singing myself. Anywho...

Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote? 

"Without change, there would be no butterflies ..." 

Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals? 

I want to lose weight and eat healthier on a more frequent basis.

Q: What ONE thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals? 

I love how good I feel when a new benchmark is met. Whether it's increasing my weights or nailing my form on a hard exercise, the feeling of making progress keeps me going. 

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us? 

I'm 34 and have been married for 5 years. We have no kids, but our dog, Beau, is like our child. I currently work in logistics and export shipments for Shiseido Americas, and I enjoy crafting and watching hockey in my spare time. I’m also a bit of a true crime junkie and enjoy watching documentaries and listening to podcasts about lesser known cases. 

I had been researching fitness and weight-loss and saw a Facebook ad for FabYoulous Fitness. I read some reviews online and decided to check it out. I was ready to sign up after one class.

Q: How has FabYOUlous Fitness made a difference in your life? 

It offers a positive space where I can focus on myself without all the "noise" life throws at me and I've met some wonderful people through my workouts.

Q: What kinds of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far? 

I have started to build my upper body strength (which I didn’t have much before lol) and I can now hold a plank for 35 seconds. 

Q: What is your "word" of the year?! 

Consistency 

Q. What made you decide to want to join FabYOUlous Fitness?

I needed a change and to take my health seriously and I loved the environment I encountered on day one with FabYOUlous Fitness

Q. What kinds of results have you achieved so far?

I’ve achieved more strength and more confidence in who I want to be. 

Q. What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?

You'll never regret taking care of yourself.
