What happens when you have a plan with the steps you need to take to reach your goal, but something goes awry?

Oftentimes, this is where we may be tempted to throw our hands in the air and give up, because just like so many other times when we've tried to aim for a goal or to follow a plan, it didn't work. We feel like we’ve been derailed.  I know...I've been there!

However, this is where it is important for us to understand that this is a PART OF THE PROCESS.  Things go awry. We make mistakes. Acknowledging this is a big part of what helps us reach our goals. Seriously? Seriously.

This is where the good stuff happens. This is where we can take a step back and analyze what's going on. What’s not working how we thought it would?  What are we doing that is not moving us closer to our goal? We find the answers to those questions, and then we PIVOT and take immediate action with the very next action or step.

This is where focusing specifically on small daily actions comes in. Every morning, we need to reset our minds and intentions to the actions we need to take or what we want to accomplish for that day - and that day only. This will help keep us moving in the right direction. These daily actions add up over time and help move us ever closer to our goal - small step by small step.
