Yoga Instructor, 200 hr YTT

Amy started her journey to becoming a yoga teacher in 2020, after falling in love with the practice in 2018.  Upon completion of 100 hr training (while COVID lockdown was still in full force) she taught weekly zoom yoga classes to family and friends, and then graduated to teaching studio classes in summer 2021; completing 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in March 2022.  Amy's favorite style to teach is flow; based on the Vinyasa style with breath linking movement, Amy loves finding creative ways to connect one pose to another.

Amy's goal as a yoga teacher is to provide accessible, uplifting classes.  She believes that yoga is a deeply personal practice, and a balance of push and pause-- that the practice of yoga can encourage us to reach further than we thought we could, and, that the practice of yoga teaches us to tune in deeply and recognize when we've found the perfect place to stay and breathe.  Amy's very favorite part of teaching yoga is the connection; building community and witnessing students build deep connections within themselves.
