Some journeys back to movement don’t start with big goals or rigid plans—they start with the need for support, understanding, and a space that truly meets you where you are. When this client found FabYOUlous Fitness in Westerville, she was navigating chronic stress, disrupted routines, and ongoing health challenges, and knew she needed one-on-one guidance in an environment designed for women. What she found instead was something deeper: a low-pressure, supportive approach to strength and movement that honored how she felt each day. This is her story about consistency built on comfort, trust, and learning to move in ways that support the life she loves.

I found FabYOUlous Fitness at a time when I knew I needed more support getting back into movement. After years of chronic stress, disrupted routines, and managing ongoing health challenges, I wanted one-on-one guidance in a space that truly understands women and meets you where you are. I rarely feel like exercising on my own, and I don’t love lofty goals or rigid routines. But I do feel deeply committed to taking care of my body. FabYOUlous Fitness, and working with Jenn in particular, felt like the right fit right away. It’s a place where I can show up exactly as I am and still be guided through a workout that feels both supportive and effective – whatever I need that day, for however I’m feeling.

My goals around health and fitness are simple and flexible: I want to stay active enough to do the things I love. That means maintaining and building muscle, improving balance and mobility, and finding ways to move that help me feel good in my body and stay healthy for the long run. Through my work at FabYOUlous Fitness, I’ve become more connected to how my body feels and moves. I’m stronger, steadier, and more confident. Everyday things like carrying groceries, moving furniture, yard work, and hiking feel easier because I have better strength and stamina. That’s why I keep showing up!

What keeps me consistent isn’t any sort of plan or goal or sense of accomplishment. It’s comfort - how I feel moment to moment - and keeping exercise low pressure and fun so it can be comfortable too. I think there are a million and one ways to stay active and healthy, and knowing that I can change things up when something stops feeling good, helps me trust I can keep it up long-term.

If someone’s on the fence about committing to a change or goal, I say, “then don’t!” Don’t worry about any big commitment or consistency. Just commit to the next step. Commit to being curious and trying something new. Explore it, see how it feels, and give yourself permission to change your mind or adjust your course at any point. Notice the small wins and follow what feels like a “yes,” because those are the things that tend to stick. And if you need support getting off the fence, FabYOUlous Fitness offers flexible options and trainers who truly meet you where you are – which means you don’t have to do it alone – and that can make all the difference! It did for me. :)
