Overview

Feel the difference between self-stretching & assisted stretching in this interactive workshop designed to help you move better.

Stretching is something most of us know we should be doing—but are we doing it in a way that actually helps our bodies?

In this interactive workshop, we’ll start with a conversation about your current stretching habits—when (or if) you stretch, how often, how your body feels before and after, and whether you’ve ever experienced assisted stretching before. We’ll talk about how assisted stretching is different from stretching on your own, why that matters, and the real benefits it can offer for mobility, recovery, and everyday movement.

From there, we’ll move into a guided self-stretching session, where you’ll learn and perform stretches for common tight areas, including:

  • Calves
  • Hamstrings
  • Low back
  • Hips
  • Chest
  • Shoulders (external rotation)
  • Neck

Before each stretch, you’ll check in with how that area feels. After stretching on your own, we’ll pause and reassess—then you’ll experience assisted stretching on the same areas, allowing you to feel the difference firsthand.

This side-by-side experience helps you better understand:

  • What self-stretching can do well
  • Where it may fall short
  • How assisted stretching can safely deepen results and help your body truly relax

We’ll wrap up by sharing how assisted stretching works at our studio, what options are available for current and new clients, and how to sign up for sessions with Rachel or Kathyif you’d like to continue feeling this good.

Expect to leave feeling looser, more mobile, and more informed about what your body actually needs.

This workshop is perfect if you:

  • Feel stiff, tight, or achy despite stretching
  • Want to improve mobility and recovery
  • Are curious about assisted stretching but want to experience it first
  • Want practical tools you can use immediately

No prior experience required—just come ready to move, feel, and learn.

Admission is $10.00.
